On the evening of Dec. two, the chair of this committee, Congressman Maxine Waters, sent an invitation to former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried, inviting this controversial figure for questioning.

.@SBF_FTXwe enjoy you staying candid in your discussions of what occurred to #FTX. Your willingness to communicate with the public will support the company’s clients, traders, and other people. To that finish, we would enjoy your participation in our hearing on the 13th.

“We enjoy your truthful discussions about what occurred at FTX. Willingness to share this in public will support the company’s clients, traders and other people. That is why we would like to invite you to the hearing on December 13″.

Along with FTX’s bankruptcy filing, Sam Bankman-Fried also announced his resignation. Since then, this man or woman has repeatedly provided interviews to the media, in which he backed up the story that what occurred was due to a lack of chance management on the exchange, which led to a shortage of money. However, when asked precise concerns about allegations of malfeasance, fraud and collusion in between FTX and Alameda Research, Sam Bankman-Fried stated he “doesn’t remember” these information.

Mr. Sam Bankman-Fried has not still confirmed no matter whether or not to attend the hearing. Another query is no matter whether this man or woman will travel to Washington DC in man or woman to attend the hearing or participate by way of on the net video.
