In an interview with TinTucBitcoin, Nicolai Sondergaard, Research Analyst at Nansen, describes the potential of these Tokens in 2025.
“A notable trend I predict is an increase in the use of AI agents in various business sectors, regardless of size. These agents can be applied in customer interactions, data analysis, and visual content creation. This technology is especially beneficial for small businesses that cannot afford to employ HR professionals throughout the entire process. AI agents will handle the majority of the work, leaving only final quality control to humans,” Sondergaard told TinTucBitcoin.
An emerging token in this category is Virtuals Protocol (VIRTUAL), which has recorded 10,359% growth year-to-date. This growth has taken the altcoin from a low of $0.029 to $3,141 at the time of writing.
With the continued growth trend, VIRTUAL is expected to rise even higher, as long as investors do not sell. Profit taking could send the price below the $2.021 support, pushing the altcoin towards $0.502.
Meme Coin AI
The demand for Meme Coin does not ignore AI either. This is reflected in coins like Turbo (TURBO), which has recorded a 3,000% increase year to date. In recent weeks, the altcoin has mostly moved sideways, but could soon see a breakout above the $0.0134 mark.
The hype of the Meme Coin AI story has also brought coins like Act 1: The AI Prophecy (ACT), Goatseus Maximus (GOAT), and Fartcoin (FARTCOIN) into the spotlight. Thanks to high demand and hype, FARTCOIN has even reached a market capitalization of 1.15 billion USD.
So, moving into 2025, as the two most important stories — AI and Meme Coin — continue to be in demand, the market could see the emergence of more AI Meme Coins.
AI-DePIN
Although Artificial Intelligence and DePIN are separate categories in the cryptocurrency market, trends from DePIN have impacted AI. The DePIN saga had a significant impact on the crypto space in the second half of the year.
This influence is clearly visible on AIOZ Network (AIOZ) with a 569% increase over the past 12 months. This altcoin once surpassed the $1.00 threshold before sliding back to trade at the current $0.95 level.
As the AI-DePIN story is still developing, it will be interesting to see how far it goes in 2025. AIOZ will be an important Token in this category and securing $1.00 support could push it higher on the charts.
Conversely, losing the $0.92 support could result in the altcoin falling to $0.55. This would nullify the bullish outlook altogether, leading to losses for AIOZ investors.
