The Octane upgrade has significantly enhanced Avalanche’s DeFi scene, with total value locked (TVL) soaring nearly 40% in Q2 2025, reaching $1.5 billion. This growth indicates strong interest from traders and users.
Ava Labs, spearheaded by CEO Emin Gün Sirer, manages the protocol enhancements. Although no specific comments were made by the leadership, Octane‘s impact is evident in the increased network activity and user growth.
