“You refused to get in touch with the police and rather attempted to blame us and demand compensation. He even goes as far as building threats, which we will not tolerate.”
CoinMamba later on announced that Binance had closed its account.

Going back to the exploit, a lot of people today have accused the exchange of leaking login details that enables attackers to steal money in the account. Binance stated that this is a “false rumor”, the crash was triggered by a third-celebration API. It is not the initially time that the exchange has dealt with a very similar situation and the exploit has occurred on a lot of other trading platforms. In November, the exchange confirmed that a user’s API working with 3Commas was hacked and he created significant purchases of altcoins, triggering the selling price to skyrocket.
