CONMEBOL has partnered with Ethernity Chain to recreate the Cope America Championship trophy as an NFT to celebrate the tournament’s 47th anniversary.
The 47th Copa America tournament ended on July ten with the Argentine team’s championship. To celebrate this year’s tournament, the South American Football Confederation, CONMEBOL has partnered with Etherity Chain to release an NFT model of the championship trophy. There are also four other NFTs in the approach of getting minted, such as:
- Two NFTs of two teams Brazil and Argentina.
- An NFT devoted to the captain of the title holder, Lionel Messi.
- An NFT for the “Goleadot” trophy of the leading scorer of this year’s tournament.

Etherity Chain is a unit working with the need to leverage the NFT application for artistic and charitable functions by honoring well known pop culture characters or occasions.
In March 2021, this unit launched the NFT assortment termed “Fight of the Century” by legendary boxer Muhammad Ali and rival Joe Frazier. This NFT was launched on the 50th anniversary of that game.
