DePin Update: io.net Collaboration, MapMetrics Roadmap

Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePin) is transforming technology by enabling decentralized projects to thrive in physical infrastructure.

Recently, there have been new developments in the DePin space: io.net partnered with Zerebro on AI development, MapMetrics announced a roadmap to list the Token, and Fluence welcomed two new pioneers for virtual machine programs without his cloud.

io.net Cooperates With Zerebro

io.net, a DePIN GPU computing network, partnered with automated AI agent Zerebro last week, according to a press release shared with TinTucBitcoin. Zerebro will use io.net’s decentralized computing resources to enhance its Ethereum validator, which will support the integration of AI and blockchain technology.

“This collaboration… marks an exciting step forward for autonomous agents and decentralized AI in general. Zerebro can build with io.net’s globally distributed and certificateless compute network, ensuring continued operations and continued innovation,” Tausif Ahmed, Director of Business Development at io.net, told TinTucBitcoin.

In recent months, io.net has been involved in several notable DePin/AI collaborations. For example, in September, they worked with TARS Protocol to reduce the cost of training AI models by 30%, and in October, they combined with Zero1 Labs to develop decentralized AI. They also had a similar partnership with OpenLedger earlier this month.

MapMetrics Announces Token Listing Roadmap

MapMetrics, a GameFi drive-to-earn navigation and monetization app, has just announced its roadmap for Token listing. This news appeared on one blog post recently summarized some of the company’s successes over the past year. Particularly notable was their integration into peaq’s DePin “peaqosystem” in August, a key build-up to MapMetrics’ Token launch.

“While no project on peaq has yet launched a Token, we are pleased to announce that MapMetrics has been nominated as one of the first projects to do so. This recognition demonstrates confidence in the project and our potential. Their commitment… ensures that we are well prepared for a strong post-launch trajectory.” The article confirms.

Although MapMetrics considers the upcoming Token launch the most important development, many other achievements also receive special attention. For example, in October, the company released several major updates focused on increasing the usability of its navigation features. By prioritizing this over GameFi functions, MapMetrics plans for long-term growth.

Fluence Welcomes Two New Pioneers

Finally, cloudless internet provider Fluence announced that two companies, RapidNode and Spheron’s Supernoderz, will participate in the DePin Cloudless Virtual Machine Alpha Test Program. Fluence shared this via a press release with TinTucBitcoin, and the company representative appeared quite enthusiastic.

“About 90% of blockchain protocol nodes and validators are hosted in the centralized cloud. We believe that for Web3 to deliver on the promise of decentralization, it requires that the underlying infrastructure be decentralized. With the launch of virtual machines and our first partners, Fluence is truly making this possible,” said Tom Trowbridge, Co-Founder of Fluence.

Fluence claims that its cloudless virtual machine eliminates the annoying problems of traditional cloud-based virtual machines. The company didn’t offer many details on the exact mechanics of these upcoming products but confirmed that they can deploy workloads at up to 75% less than traditional cloud providers. .
