ETH, XRP and Solana ETFs drew nearly $59 million in combined net inflows on Sept. 9, while US spot Bitcoin funds shed roughly $120 million on the same day, leaving the crypto ETF flow tape sharply split by asset.
TLDR KEYPOINTS
- ETH, XRP and Solana ETFs drew nearly $59 million in combined inflows.
- Bitcoin funds lost $120 million.
- Both figures refer to the Sept. 9 session.
ETH, XRP and Solana ETFs draw nearly $59 million on Sept. 9
The three altcoin ETF categories pulled in nearly $59 million on a combined basis during the Sept. 9 session. The figure covers Ethereum, XRP and Solana products together, not any single asset. For related coverage, see Bitcoin ETFs Rebound as Ethereum and XRP Streaks End.
The combined ETH, XRP and Solana ETF inflow
Broken out by category, CryptoSlate reported Ethereum ETF inflows of $34.75 million, XRP product inflows of $12.29 million and Solana ETF inflows of $11.73 million, citing SoSoValue data. Those figures sum to $58.77 million, supporting the “nearly $59 million” framing at the source’s displayed precision. For related coverage, see Hunter Biden’s $LAPTOP Memecoin: Nearly 80% Underwater.
The per-asset splits come from a single secondary report; the original ETH, XRP and SOL category rows were not independently recovered. Ethereum products have carried the recent momentum, having logged their highest monthly net inflows since August 2025, while XRP funds have seen thinner tape, drawing less than $2 million on slower days.
Bitcoin funds lose $120 million on the same day
US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded a daily net flow of -$120.24 million on Sept. 9, marking a fund outflow rather than a decline in Bitcoin’s price or market capitalization. It was the second straight negative session, following a -$46.65 million reading on Sept. 8.

How Bitcoin outflows compare with the combined inflow
The Bitcoin outflow ran a little more than twice the nearly $59 million that flowed into the three altcoin categories combined. Netted across all four buckets, the tape shows roughly -$61 million overall for the session.
The Bitcoin selling was concentrated at the fund level. The ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB) accounted for -$77.98 million, while Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin Trust (MSBT) drew a positive $4.49 million. Bitcoin ETF net assets stood at $99.33 billion, on $2.05 billion in value traded. These swings did not reverse Bitcoin’s recent run of $700 million-plus inflow days.
What the Sept. 9 crypto ETF flow snapshot shows
One day of flows does not establish a trend
Opposite flow directions on a single day do not prove that investors rotated capital out of Bitcoin funds and into ETH, XRP or Solana products. Aggregate category flows do not identify investor-level transfers, and CryptoSlate itself does not claim the money moved between the products.
The Sept. 9 figures are not a total for the entire crypto ETF market, and one session sets no trend. Prior sessions have shown the pattern flip, with Bitcoin ETFs rebounding as Ethereum and XRP streaks ended, underscoring how quickly daily leadership rotates.
As a separate live gauge of market mood, the Fear & Greed Index sat at 69, in “Greed” territory, at the time of writing. That reading is distinct from the Sept. 9 ETF session. Watch whether Bitcoin ETF flows print a third consecutive outflow, and whether the altcoin categories hold their combined inflow, over the next 24 to 72 hours.
