Grayscale announced an extensive list of cryptocurrencies, including memes and AI tokens, that may soon join their investment products.
During its review, the investment manager adjusts its product portfolio 15 days after the end of the quarter.
Grayscale Reveals Potential Candidates for Q1 2025
According to declare officially, Grayscale is considering adding 39 Altcoins to its collection of digital assets. Based on the list, and as done before, these 39 Altcoins are classified into five groups: Currencies (electronic assets as a means of exchange or store of value), Smart Contract Platforms, Finance , Consumption & Culture, and Services & Utilities.
Note that this is not the first time Grayscale has added Altcoins to its investment collection. Previously, the investment manager added 35 Altcoins to its portfolio in mid-October.
Notably, some Altcoins from the previous list still appear in the latest list. Among them are KAS, APT, ARB, and TIA. However, some others have been removed. This alludes to the complications that come with choosing to join Grayscale’s investment list.
“This list may change during the quarter as some multi-asset funds restructure and we launch single-asset products,” Grayscale add.
Assets or projects are marked with an asterisk
only added to the list after December 31. Their value is likely to be based on trends emerging in the cryptocurrency industry as it continues to grow.
Currently, the updated list shows that Grayscale pays special attention to RWA, DePin and AI, especially AI agent tokens.
Furthermore, Grayscale also included Binance Coin (BNB) and Hyperliquid (HYPE), which are tokens associated with centralized and decentralized exchanges respectively. This shows that they are looking to explore both sides of the market to expand their investment scope.
