Bitcoin is at $67K but analysis warns BTC price could drop 10% next

On the evening of November 23, the crypto local community was astonished by the information that an anonymous wallet “bc1qn” paid 83.65 BTC (equivalent to three.14 million USD) for a transfer of 139.42 BTC (equivalent to five, 23 million USD) to the “ bc1qyf ” wallet.

The wallet “bc1qn” paid a transaction charge of 83.65 $BTC($three.14 million) when transferred 139.42 $BTC($five.23 million) in the “bc1qyf” portfolio.https://t.co/p5j9A82rvqhttps://t.co/NFnT9tZKID pic.twitter.com/Nc8BD7umYK

It is unclear no matter whether this transaction was accidental or intentional. But the charge of three million bucks is not a little volume and helps make the local community regret since it represents far more than half of the worth sent by this wallet.

Gas overload incidents are no longer unusual in the cryptocurrency marketplace. In September 2023, a BTC transaction also expense USD 510,000 in costs for a transaction of just .07 BTC (USD two,000), the identity of this wallet was then all of a sudden unveiled to be the stablecoin issuer Paxos. Paxos then claimed that they have been incorrect and wished to return the dollars, but fortunately the F2Pool authentication unit agreed to return 19 BTC.

In the previous, a person invested as a lot as USD two.five million in costs just to send USD 133 ETH, or a .one ETH transaction had a charge of up to 2100 ETH.

The factors are incredibly various, from incorrect submission, to procedure error, to hacking, but some men and women are prepared to shell out exorbitant costs to full transactions as swiftly as doable. In most incidents, the authentication unit is prepared to return or halve the charge to the sender.
