The IT Administration of Zhejiang Province explained on October 14 that it had opened an investigation into cryptocurrency mining actions at government companies, celebration offices, state-owned enterprises and larger schooling institutions, substantial colleges and study institutes.

The survey looked at additional than four,700 IP addresses in the province believed to be concerned in cryptocurrency actions. As a consequence, 184 IP addresses had been identified applying the public assets of 77 public authorities to mine BTC, ETH and quite a few other cryptocurrencies.
