Second BloombergZhu Su, co-founder of Three Arrows Capital, was arrested by Singapore authorities at midday on September 29 although making an attempt to flee the nation.

The over data was supplied by Teneo, the bankruptcy unit accountable for Three Arrows Capital. Teneo stated Zhu Su did not comply with the court purchase, which essential cooperation in managing the bankruptcy situation.

Teneo also announced that the founder of Three Arrows Capital faces four months in prison. The court also ordered the arrest and related prison sentence for the fund’s remaining founder, Kyle Davies.

Previously, the two founders of Three Arrows Capital, Zhu Su and Kyle Davies, have been banned by Singapore authorities from trading and participating in fiscal pursuits in the Lion Island nation for 9 many years.

Three Arrows Capital was after a renowned cryptocurrency investment fund, but was caught in a liquidity crisis in mid-2022 just after the collapse of LUNA-UST, so it had to file for bankruptcy with debts of a lot more than $three billion.

Zhu Su and Kyle Davies have due to the fact been accused of failing to cooperate with the bankruptcy unit, failing to deliver paperwork to assistance the asset recovery method and refusing to get hold of creditors.

Instead, these two men and women reappeared in the cryptocurrency sector in early 2023 when they backed the OPNX exchange and reopened a new fund termed 3AC Ventures.
