Brian Brooks, the former head of the Office of the Currency Checker who grew to become CEO of BinanceUS this spring, has stepped down.
Brooks announced his move in a tweet on Friday afternoon. He indicated “differences in strategic direction” but did not investigate. He started his tenure at the US-based mostly corporation on May one.

Shortly soon after Brooks’ announcement, BinanceUS launched a statement from Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance and president of the US-based mostly exchange. Zhao stated “this transition will not affect BinanceUS clients in any way.”
