The greatest Ethereum mining pool stops supporting ETH mining right after The Merge

Ethermine, the world’s # one Ethereum mining pool (accounting for above 27% of the whole Ethereum network hashrate), has announced that it will no longer help ETH Proof-of-Work mining right after the 2nd cryptocurrency network greatest in the globe has completed updating. Merge to switch to working with the Proof-of-Stake mechanism.

Notably, this mining pool has also confirmed that it will not help any other ETH PoW forks, which indicates it will fully shut down the ETH mining server.

Instead, consumers can carry on to use ASIC miners and GPU graphics cards to mine Ethermine-backed cryptocurrencies, like Ethereum Classic (And so on), Ravencoin (RVN), Ergo (ERGO), and Beam (BEAM).

The merge is the most crucial update in Ethereum’s background, scheduled for noon – early afternoon on September 15, 2022 (Vietnam time).
