According to on-chain investigator ZachXBT, he and MetaMask developer Taylor Monahan tracked down at least 80 compromised wallets impacted by the hack of the password management application LastPass.

As a consequence, the incident occurred in October 2022, hackers attacked the pc of an engineer doing work for LastPass, therefore stealing information from cloud storage.
Since then, it is estimated that far more than $35 million has been misplaced. The corporation confirmed that hackers stole account names, encrypted passwords, and multi-component authentication (MFA).
On October 25, ZachXBT mentioned an additional $four.four million in cryptocurrencies had been impacted, withdrawn from the Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, Arbitrum, Solana, and Polygon networks.
