More than 768,000 USD Bitcoin was stolen from consumers who downloaded the fake Ledger Live app from the Microsoft App Store. Detective on Chain ZachXBT found the scam on November 5th.

Initially, the hacker stole sixteen.eight BTC, really worth $588,000, across 38 transactions. Tpig Blockchain.com, the hacker’s wallet tackle is recognized as “bc1q….y64q”. Subsequently, he transferred $115,200 from his wallet, leaving $473,800, somewhere around 13.five Bitcoins.
