Mi Store Portugal, the official retailer of the Chinese tech giant, has moved to let cryptocurrency payments. Customers can now acquire smartphones, vacuum cleaners, smartwatches, electrical scooters and other Xiaomi gadgets with Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT) and Dash.

To more help cryptocurrencies, Xiaomi has partnered with Swiss crypto payment services supplier Utrust, whose Utrust (UTK) token is also accepted as a payment process by Mi Store Portugal.

Pedro Maia, advertising and marketing manager of Mi Store Portugal, says that Xiaomi, which lately overtook Apple in the smartphone marketplace, is attempting to remain accurate to its motto of bringing innovation to the marketplace.
