OKEx exchange has announced the reopening of the withdrawal function for users after more than a month of shutting down this function.
On October 16, one of OKEX’s private key holders is said to be cooperating with the investigation agency and OKEX has not been able to contact this person. Therefore, the exchange cannot complete the relevant authorizations. Specifically, OKEx suspends digital asset/cryptocurrency withdrawals as of October 16, 2020 at 11:00 (Hong Kong Time).
This afternoon (November 19), according to the latest update from OKEx, the member who holds the private key of the exchange investigated by the police was not found to have committed any illegal activity. Therefore, OKEx will reopen the unlimited withdrawal function on 11/27.
