Ondo Finance Review 2026: USDY, OUSG, Ondo Stocks and ONDO
ReviewA screenshot-based review of Ondo Finance in November 2026: the USDY and OUSG product pages, Ondo Stocks, the app, the wallet connect modal, live numbers from D...
Who this guide is for: People who want tokenized US Treasury yield or on-chain stock exposure, and anyone holding or thinking about the ONDO token.
What we tested (5 Nov 2026): The public website ondo.finance, the product pages for USDY, OUSG and Ondo Stocks, the trading app app.ondo.finance, the login and wallet connect screens, plus DeFiLlama, CoinMarketCap, RWA.xyz and the docs. All screenshots were taken on 5 Nov 2026 from a desktop browser (1440×900), a tablet (1024×1366) and a phone (430×932).
What we did NOT test: We did not connect a wallet, did not sign up, did not pass KYC, and did not buy or redeem anything. Every step after the connect screen is marked (Not verified).
What Ondo is, in plain English
Ondo Finance turns real-world financial assets into tokens you can hold in a crypto wallet. The main products we saw:
- USDY: a yield-bearing token backed by bank deposits and short-term US Treasuries, for non-US persons.
- OUSG: a short-term US Treasuries fund token, only for institutions and qualified or accredited buyers.
- Ondo Stocks (Global Markets): tokenized stocks and ETFs such as NVDAon and INTCon, not available in the US.
- Ondo Intelligent Portfolios and Private Markets: portfolio tokens and exposure to private companies.
- Ondo Network, Bridge, Converter, Flux and Nexus: infrastructure products listed in the site menu.
Background: what Ondo does
This section describes how Ondo presents itself on its own site, as captured on 5 Nov 2026.
Ondo Finance is a US-based company. Its pitch, as shown on the site, is to bring familiar financial assets, like US Treasury bills and US stocks, on-chain as tokens that can move 24/7 between wallets. We did not verify the company's regulatory registrations in this session; check the disclosures on ondo.finance before you invest.
It helps to see Ondo as two businesses:
- Products: USDY and OUSG (yield from Treasuries and bank deposits) and Ondo Stocks (tokenized equities and ETFs).
- Infrastructure: Ondo Network, Bridge, Converter, Flux (borrow and lend with tokenized assets) and Nexus (for asset issuers), all listed in the Products menu.
The plain-English analogy
Normally, if you want a US Treasury bill, you need a brokerage account in a country that allows it. Ondo is like a digital wrapper: a fund buys the Treasury bills, and you hold a token that represents a claim on that fund. Because the token lives on a blockchain, you can send it to another wallet, or use it as collateral, at any hour. The cost is that you rely on the issuer, the legal structure and the compliance rules rather than just code.
USDY vs OUSG: which one is for whom
| USDY | OUSG | |
|---|---|---|
| Eligibility on the page | Non-US individuals and organizations | Institutions and high-net-worth investors |
| Underlying | Bank deposits and short-term US Treasuries | Short-term US Treasuries fund |
| Price on 5 Nov 2026 | $1.1521 | $117.1527 |
| Yield shown | 3.75% APY | 3.73% APY |
| TVL / assets | $2.40B total asset value, 18,170 holders (RWA.xyz) | $316.96M TVL |
| Liquidity | Daily subscriptions and redemptions | 24/7 instant mints and redemptions |
| Use | Cash management, yield-bearing collateral | Institutional liquidity |
Notice how the price rises over time instead of the balance growing: that is the accumulating design, where each token becomes worth more as yield accrues. The Converter in the Products menu is there to switch between accumulating and rebasing versions. Do not compare it to a normal dollar stablecoin that stays near $1.00.
Live numbers (5 Nov 2026)
Each figure is a single snapshot from our browsing session on 5 Nov 2026. We did not record the exact time of each page load, and prices, APYs and AUM change continuously, so check the linked sources for current values. Source pages: DeFiLlama Ondo, CoinMarketCap ONDO, RWA.xyz and ondo.finance.

| Circulating / max supply | 4.86B / 10B | CoinMarketCap |
| USDY total asset value | $2.40B, 18,170 holders | RWA.xyz |
The two APY figures differ by source: the site shows 3.75% for USDY, while RWA.xyz showed a 7-day APY of 3.16%. Treat the headline number as a marketing figure that can change.

The landing page

Ondo landing page full length.
What you see: Full-length page. At this size the text is not readable, so we only use it to show the structure: hero, Ondo Stocks block, a counters section, a black "Our Technology, Your Tokens" section and a long legal footer. The counters were still animating when captured, so we do not quote them.

The Products menu lists:.
What you see: The Products menu groups what Ondo sells. The table right below copies each item and its label, including the "Not Available in US" tag that appears on several of them.

Core products
USDY

USDY product page.
What you see: The USDY page shows the price at $1.1521, an APY of 3.75% and TVL of $2.39B, with Buy USDY and Redeem USDY buttons. This is the page I check first because the label "Not Available in US" decides whether I can continue at all.

USDY price chart.
What you see: "Safe, Daily Yield. Now 3.75% APY". The chart shows the price rising from $1.00 in Dec '23 to $1.1521. A "Buy USDY" button sits under the description.

USDY in detail.
What you see: The "USDY In Detail" table:
| Field | Value on the page |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | Non-US Individuals & Organizations |
| Underlying assets | Bank Deposits; Short-Term US Treasuries |
| Liquidity | Daily Subscriptions & Redemptions |
| Transferability | Freely Transferable (footnoted) |
| Legal structure | Debt Issued by Bankruptcy-Remote Entity |
| Use cases | Cash Management; Yield-bearing Collateral |
| Regulatory | Continuous Regulation S Offering |
| Issuer domicile | United States |
| Networks | Ethereum, Mantle, Solana, Sui, Aptos, Noble, Arbitrum, Stellar, Sei, Tempo, BNB Chain |
USDY is a price-accruing token: the price rises each day instead of the balance growing. That is why it trades at $1.15 and not $1.
OUSG

Ondo Short-Term US Treasuries Fund.
What you see: Headline: "The Institutional Standard for Liquidity". Price $117.1527, APY 3.73%, TVL $316.96M, with 24/7 instant mints and redemptions. Buttons: Buy OUSG and Redeem OUSG. Four chain icons are shown under "Available on".

"Now 3.73% APY".
What you see: The chart runs from about $100 in May '23 to $117.15.
OUSG is only for accredited investors and qualified purchasers (see the legal text in the screenshot of the app table below).
Ondo Stocks (Global Markets)

"The Global Standard for Tokenized ETFs", marked "Not Available in US".
What you see: Buttons: Buy Tokenized Stocks and Find a Marketplace. Sample card: NVDAon $198.72.

Cards seen: SOXLon $64.03 (-11.98%), SPCXon (SpaceX) $133.06 (-1.57%).
What you see: Cards seen: SOXLon $64.03 (-11.98%), SPCXon (SpaceX) $133.06 (-1.57%), SOXSon $6.45 (+14.73%), TQQQon $60.44 (+1.96%), ORCLon $124.14, PLUGon $1.49, CIFRon $6.52.

USDY on a phone.
What you see: On a phone the USDY page keeps the same message in a single column. The headline, the price and the Buy and Redeem buttons stack vertically, so I scroll instead of reading side by side.
The app (app.ondo.finance)

The app without a wallet.
What you see: This is the Ondo Global Markets app opened without a wallet. I can already browse assets, the menu and the Top Gainers boxes. Buying still needs a connected wallet and an eligibility check, so I stopped here.

App private markets.
What you see: Menu: Explore, Portfolio, Tools, Resources, Private Client, a search box, Connect Wallet and Sign Up / Log In. Banner "Private Markets, Open Access". Top Gainers: APPon $327.43 (+34.72%), SWKSon $81.64 (+15.69%), ASSTon $23.56 (+15.28%). Trending: SOXLon $64.03, INTCon $56.86, NVDAon $198.80. Newly Added: ZSEPon $28.00, ZOCTon $28.93, ZNOVon $28.24. The Private Markets tab shows OPAIPon (OpenAI Private Market Notes) with subscription status "100% Full".

Tabs: Stocks & ETFs (476), Intelligent Portfolios (7), Private Markets (NEW).
What you see: Columns: Price, Net Assets, YTD Return, Category, Service Fee, Constituents, Model Provider. First row: BLKGRWon, $4.89, $15.9M net assets, +13.01% YTD, Allocation, "0% first 3 mo" fee, 6 constituents, BlackRock.

Asset table sorted by 24h volume.
What you see: SOXLon $64.03 ($247.0M volume, status "Asset Paused"), INTCon $56.86, NVDAon $198.80, SPCXon $133.15, SOXSon $6.44, TQQQon $60.45, ORCLon $124.16. Some assets show "Asset Open" and others "Asset Paused". The grey box at bottom left is the legal notice: tokens are not registered in the US, Ondo Stocks and USDY are sold to qualified investors or professional clients in some regions, and OUSG is only for accredited investors and qualified purchasers.
Fees
We did not see a fee table in the app pages we captured. The only fee shown in the app was the Intelligent Portfolios "Service Fee" column (for example "0% first 3 mo").
For Ondo Stocks, the official Fees & Taxes page does not list a fixed percentage. It says the quoted buy or sell price may differ from the price at which Ondo Stocks trades the underlying stock, and that this difference and any fees are kept by Ondo Stocks. You also pay your own gas. In practice this means the cost is built into the quote, so compare the quoted price with the live stock price before you confirm.
The same page says the issuing entity is based in the British Virgin Islands, so dividends from US stocks are reinvested after a 30% US withholding tax. No other taxes are withheld, but you may owe tax where you live.
We did not place a trade, so we cannot tell you the actual spread on a real order. (Not verified)
How to use Ondo: step-by-step tutorial (buying a tokenized stock)
I walked through the live Ondo website and the Ondo Global Markets app on 5 November 2026. I typed in the pages and opened the wallet window, but I did not connect a wallet, pass any identity check or buy anything. Every step that needs a wallet is marked (Not verified). Ondo says its stock products are not available to US persons, so check your own eligibility first.
Step 1: Start on the Ondo homepage
First, I type ondo.finance. The page opens with a large "Welcome to the Open Economy" scene and a banner on top about Ondo Private Markets.

The homepage.
What you see: A banner at the top announces "Introducing Ondo Private Markets: tokenized exposure to industry-defining private companies". The middle shows "Welcome to the Open Economy" over a city skyline, with partner names such as BlackRock, Sei, Goldman Sachs and Solana along the bottom. A cookie box is in the corner, and the menu has Products, Resources, Ecosystem, About and a Launch App button.
I read the menu first. Products is where I find out which Ondo product matches what I want.
Step 2: Understand the three products
Next, I open the product pages one by one, starting with the stock product.

Ondo Stocks page.
What you see: The Ondo Stocks page, labeled "Not Available in US". The headline reads "The Global Standard for Tokenized ETFs" and two buttons say "Buy Tokenized Stocks" and "Find a Marketplace". Three price cards below show SOXLon at $62.19, INTCon at $57.41 and another stock.
The "Not Available in US" label is the first thing I check. If it applies to you, stop here.

Ondo USDY page.
What you see: The USDY page: "The Global Standard for Savings". Price $1.1521, APY 3.75%, TVL $2.39B, with Buy USDY and Redeem USDY buttons and a row of supported chains.

Ondo OUSG page.
What you see: The OUSG page: "The Institutional Standard for Dollar Yield". Price $117.1527, APY 3.73%, TVL $316.96M, with Buy OUSG and Redeem OUSG buttons.
Which option should I pick? USDY and OUSG are yield products built on Treasuries, so they behave like a savings account. Ondo Stocks is for price exposure, so it can lose value. Pick by goal, not by headline number. I also note that OUSG is described as an institutional product.
Step 3: Launch the app and browse the market
Then I press Launch App to open the Global Markets app.

Ondo Global Markets app home.
What you see: The Global Markets app. The menu shows Explore, Portfolio, Tools, Resources and Private Client, a search box for assets and "Connect Wallet" and "Sign Up / Log In" buttons. A banner says "Private Markets, Open Access". Three boxes list Top Gainers, Trending and Newly Added tokens. Below, a table with tabs for "Stocks & ETFs" (476), "Intelligent Portfolios" and "Private Markets", and filters such as 24/7 Available, ETF and Technology.
The table is the easiest way to learn the product. It shows the price, the 24-hour change and volume, and an "Asset Open" or closed status.
Step 4: Open an asset page
After that, I click SOXLon in the list.

Ondo asset page for SOXLon with a buy box.
What you see: The SOXLon page, an on-chain version of a 3x semiconductor ETF. The price is $62.29, down 20.12% over 24 hours, with a day chart. The right side has Buy / Sell tabs, a network selector set to Ethereum, a "Spend" box in USDC, a "Receive" box in SOXLon and a Connect Wallet button. A legal note says the tokens are not offered to US persons.
I read the "About" and "Supported Chains" boxes under the chart. A 3x leveraged product can swing a lot in one day, as the chart shows.
Step 5: Open the wallet window
Now I press Connect Wallet to see how login works.

Ondo wallet login window.
What you see: A "Log in or sign up" window with a search box ("Search through 746 wallets") and a list: Binance Wallet, MetaMask, Coinbase, WalletConnect and Phantom, all marked Multichain.
Ondo uses a login provider that supports hundreds of wallets. I stop here, so the next steps are (Not verified):
- Pick your wallet from the list in the login window.
- Complete any identity or eligibility check the app asks for.
- Type an amount in the Spend box, read the quote and press the buy button.
- Confirm in your wallet and check the Portfolio page afterward.
Which option should I pick? Start with a very small amount. For stocks, check whether the market is open, because the app shows an "Asset Open" status in the table.
Earn and referral
USDY and OUSG are the yield products. We found no referral program on the pages we captured. (Not verified)
ONDO token (live data)
- Live, from the CoinMarketCap ONDO page as captured on 5 Nov 2026: rank #42 at $0.4069, market cap about $1.98B, FDV about $4.08B and 220.22K holders. The same page showed "Rating (CertiK)" 4.7 (see the screenshot below); that is CertiK's own rating as displayed by CoinMarketCap, and we did not check it on CertiK's site.
- DeFiLlama shows 30-day fees of $7.55M but 30-day revenue of $0.
- ONDO is described as a governance token. The live data shows 4.86B of the 10B max supply circulating, so roughly half is not yet in circulation and future unlocks can add supply.

DeFiLlama: RWA active AUM $3.185B, fees $7.55M, DEX volume $459.58M, open interest $92.09M.
What you see: DeFiLlama tracks Ondo as a real-world-asset protocol. The page shows RWA active AUM of $3.185B, fees of $7.55M, DEX volume of $459.58M and open interest of $92.09M. I use it as an independent source next to the numbers on the Ondo site.

CoinMarketCap page for Ondo.
What you see: This is the CoinMarketCap page for the ONDO token. In the table of live numbers the token sits at rank #42 with a price of $0.4069, and 4.86B of the 10B maximum supply is circulating.

RWA.xyz page for USDY: total asset value $2.40B, 18,170 holders.
What you see: RWA.xyz follows tokenized assets. For USDY it shows total asset value of $2.40B and 18,170 holders, and a 7-day APY of 3.16%, a little lower than the 3.75% headline on the Ondo site.

docs.ondo.finance: sections on Trust & Security.
What you see: docs.ondo.finance: sections on Trust & Security, Official Domains and Ondo Stocks (eligibility, investing and redeeming, fees and taxes).
Security and risk
- The legal text says the tokens are not registered under the US Securities Act and are not for US persons, except OUSG for accredited investors and qualified purchasers.
- Some stock tokens show "Asset Paused", so you cannot always trade.
- USDY is debt of a bankruptcy-remote entity, not a bank deposit.
- We did not read audit reports. (Not verified)
Understanding Ondo Stocks (Global Markets)
The app lists 476 stocks and ETFs as tokens (names end with "on", for example NVDAon, SPCXon, TQQQon). A token tracks the price of the real asset, and the platform says trading is open 24/7 for many of them. A few points to watch:
- Eligibility: The Products menu marks Ondo Stocks as "Not Available in US".
- Paused assets: SOXLon, the top row by 24-hour volume ($247.0M), showed "Asset Paused". Always look at the status line before you try to trade, since NVDAon showed "Asset Open for Trade".
- Volatile products: Leveraged ETF tokens such as SOXLon (-11.98%) and SOXSon (+14.73%) moved sharply in one day. Leveraged products are not for buy-and-hold beginners.
- Not the same as owning a share. A token usually gives price exposure and sometimes dividends via the structure. It may not give voting rights. Read the docs section on eligibility, investing and redeeming, and fees and taxes.
How to think about yield and risk
A 3.7% yield sounds simple, but ask where it comes from. For USDY and OUSG it is the interest on short-term government debt and bank deposits, minus fees. If interest rates fall, the yield falls. The risks are different from a DeFi lending pool:
| Risk | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Issuer and legal risk | You rely on the legal structure (the USDY page says debt issued by a bankruptcy-remote entity) |
| Eligibility risk | If you move countries or your status changes, you may not be allowed to hold it |
| Redemption risk | Daily or instant redemption depends on partners and banks being operational |
| Smart contract risk | Tokens exist on many chains; a bug in a bridge can hurt |
| Source differences | The yield differs by page: 3.75% on USDY, 3.73% on OUSG. Use the product page, not a third-party number |
The ONDO token: what it is not
ONDO is the governance token. On 5 Nov 2026 it traded around $0.41 with a market cap of $2.01B and an FDV of $4.128B (DeFiLlama), rank #42 on CoinMarketCap, with 4.86B circulating out of 10B. The important number is $0 revenue over 30 days on DeFiLlama, even though the protocol shows $7.55M of fees and $3.185B of RWA active AUM. In plain terms: the products earn money for the company or the funds, but holding ONDO does not automatically entitle you to that income. Also, with only 4.86B of 10B circulating, future unlocks can add supply.
Do not confuse the products with the token: you can buy USDY for yield without holding ONDO, and holding ONDO does not give you USDY yield.

FAQ
Can US residents use Ondo? The site marks USDY, Ondo Stocks and Intelligent Portfolios "Not Available in US". OUSG is for institutions and high-net-worth investors.
Is USDY a stablecoin? It is a yield-bearing token whose price rises over time, not a token that stays at one dollar.
Where does the yield come from? Short-term US Treasuries and bank deposits.
Why is the ONDO price not linked to the yield? The token is for governance. DeFiLlama reported $0 protocol revenue over the 30 days we checked, and holding ONDO does not by itself give you a share of the fees the products earn.
Do I need a wallet? The login window we captured only showed wallet options (Binance Wallet, MetaMask, Coinbase, WalletConnect, Phantom and more). We did not see an email or social login option, and you still must meet eligibility rules.
Is it safe? The docs have a Trust & Security section. We did not audit anything and did not test buying.
Pros and cons
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Clear product pages with chain lists and eligibility | USDY, OUSG and Ondo Stocks all exclude US persons or need accreditation |
| Large AUM on DeFiLlama ($3.185B) | DeFiLlama reported $0 protocol revenue over 30 days, and ONDO holders get no automatic fee share |
| Many wallet options (the login window lists 746 wallets) | We could not test buying or redeeming |
| 476 stock and ETF tokens in the app | Some assets paused; yield figures differ by source |
Verdict
Ondo looks like a mature RWA platform with transparent product pages and large AUM. Because we did not connect a wallet or finish KYC, we cannot rate the trading experience. Rating: 4/5 for what is visible, with the buying flow unverified.
